Razzamatazz lyrics
RAZZAMATAZZ
Don’t believe those clouds in the sky
‘Cause they’ll be movin’ on
And the sun will shine
If the world's been passing you by
Just Reach out for a star,
And you’ll realize
Gotta put back all the good times that we had
(we can make it better with a little bit of) Razzamatazz
If you feel your life’s in a rut
Just come on out tonight
And we’ll pull you up
Ain’t no use in dragging your feet
‘cause something’s in the air
That just can’t be beat
Gotta put back all the good times that we had
(we can make it better with a little bit of) Razzamatazz
Bring out the ride with those white-wall tires
Let’s go out cruising’ like we used to do
Let’s shoot it down, let’s set this town on fire
Jump out your seat and let the music pull you through
(we can make it better with a little bit of) Razzamatazz (X2)
(Guitar solo)
Gotta put back all the good times that we had
(we can make it better with a little bit of) Razzamatazz
If you lay your soul on the line
‘cause we can make it work
If we do it right
Gotta spread this message around
The people of the world should be getting down
Gotta put back all the good times that we had
(we can make it better with a little bit of) Razzamatazz (X3)
(We can make it better with a little bit of) Razzamatazz(until fade)

Another gem from pop-soul craftsman Rod Temperton (composer). Heatwave, MJ's 'Off The Wall' album, Quincy Jones - the dude was everywhere! And once you know his sound you can hear it in all his works...play this song before or after any of his 'Off The Wall' songs and the similarities become readily apparent. Sure do miss his mid-tempo grooves!
