  My friend's boo just broke up with her today ( 6-20-09 ) i couldnt stand it. i was so mad and she was so sad she cried. i called him a bad word. but anyway we were in the car alone cuz we just got home and everyone else was inside and the engine was still running, so i turned on the radio. Pink's song "Who Knew" was on and we listened to it. later it came on the music channel on tv. and we recorded it. she listen to it on the cd player 4 a while. she felt a whole lot better.   I really like this song ... it reminds me of my frist true love... he hung himself 2 years ago... and i have a son by him... when it talks about you visit in my sleep its completely true and i no one day will meet again... people cant take life for granted i always thought he'd be here for me and my son but now hes gone and my son will never no so i understand this song completely... thanks pink... r.i.p. ray....

  I think sometimes the song & video don't necessarily always mean the same things. They can be singing about a breakup and the video producer has a different idea.

  Like the Rascal Flatts song that was mentioned above--song was about a split but vid was about him dying instead.

  So I think everyone is correct in their assumptions about the song & video. IMO Pink means a sudden split (it's probably one of those "anything could have happened to make him not be in the picture") and the video is indicating he had a drug problem.

  I love this song so much b/c i went out with this boy and we broke up and we then became just friends and then i started liking him again and he had 2 go somewhere and he won't be back 4 a long time. so this song has helped me pull it together!

  i luv dis song it really shows u tht u shouldnt take things for granted because with a blink of an eye it could all be gone. and look alot of people are asking wut da song means but really it means wuteva u want it to. like pink knows wut she means by the song but u take it how u want it could be from anything to a dieng friend a break up or just loosing a friendship either way it touches the herat. so whoeva is wondering wut it means i hope this helps.

  When this song first came out I really didn't like it, but now I understand it. It relates to what I'm going through right now, because of what with my x-boyfriend and I.   This is a great song for anyone who's just out of a relationship...my boyfriend and I broke up just a little while ago and this song was on the radio the day after...the lyrics don't exactly offer advice but it can hold you together in a way because its as if she's saying just what you're thinking!!

  I heard it on the radio and I really wanted to download it! It's awesome, but sad..... :'(. Pink's hair is kinda weird too! I think he tried to commit suicide. Everyone that's posted a comment said that it helped them through tough times, thats really good that a song like this has. I don't have a bf though, to young!

  haha your all pretty dumb. it's a song about a guy that died, not a boyfriend. well a boyfriend, that died. cept you chelsea, you seem to have a clue. besides that i love the song, reminds me of my best friends brother who died in a car accident recentlu. this same kid was a friend of mines xbf and even after they broke up you could still tell they were crazy about eachother, oh and word to the wise, she wishes every day she told him a thousand and one times that she cared about him so much and she will wish every day until the day she dies. so don't take anybody for granted. cuz you never know when you might love em.

  I love this song. its one of my favorites beside what hurts the most by rascal flatts. My boyfriend josh died four months ago from a drug over dose and this song just helps me deal with everything. i miss josh and this song just makes me remeber the good times. and it lets me know josh will always be here with me even if i cant see him. I love pink!

  this song kept me going. my boyfriend and i have had some problem.we dated for almost 2 years and now hes graduated ..this year and we thought wed be together for ever but now hes going away and this song by pink really says ..no one knows how long things will last. he is now going to go away to university in the states after the summer. so count your blessings. cuz they will be all gone.

I can´t believe Pink has managed to release such a good song, I love it and ,as everybody here said, it remembers me of my ex bf back in Romania... yeah, we said forever, but I had to leave to another country and it all fell apart slowly...   i love this song, i dont think it reminds me of my ex but it does remind me of all the good times i have had wif all my other bfs in it makes me happy but sad at the same time.......i love listening to songs that make me think back to the good times i have had with people espcially if i have just broken up wif sum1 or had a fight withe a friend or if i jus feel depressed,they realy make me think that life may seem long at points, but its really short wen u think about it, and it could be gone so quickly,i love songs that make me cry coz every1 needs a good cry every now and then, u shouldnt have to wait for sum1 to die or be serouisly injured or sumthing to cry!!!

  hey the lyrics are basically saying that the relationship was carefree, and young loving. All her mates was trying to tell her otherwise that it wont last and she didnt like hearing that because she was in love. Where it says 'count your blessings now' ever heard of that saying? its when people take things for granted and they only relised what they had when it was too late and gone.
  She also relied on the bf, believing that they would be together forever but because of the heiron she had to leave him. hopefully that will help i'm not 100% right but thats what i think. xx
