Hoodoo lyrics

Come into my life
Regress into a dream
We will hide
Build a new reality
Draw another picture
Of the life you could have had
Follow your instincts
And choose the other path

You should never be afraid
You're protected from trouble and pain
Why, Why is this a crisis in your eyes again

Come to be
How did it come to be
Tied to a railroad
No love to set us free
Watch our souls fade away
And our bodies crumbling
Don't be afraid

I will take the blow for you

And I've had recurring nightmares
That I was loved for who I am
And missed the opportunity
to be a better man

Muse are the best band to walk the earth, The lyrics are filled with meaning and when they sing live, its just Utter Brillience!

This song has the typical Muse feel to it, which is theatrical and over the top. This is not a bad thing, however, the song has so much passion and emotion within it. The music represents the lyrics perfectly by beginning the song with just guitar work that provides a kind of ominous feeling. It slowly builds up to a very chaotic bridge with lyrics that represent the chaos. Then, following the chaos, the aftermath is then played on just the acoustic guitar in a depressing tone with the lyrical content coinciding perfectly.

Quite possibly Muse's most brilliant piece.

The pianist, stop being snobby i want the piano part aswell, i've been playing for 10 years but not all of us are prodigies that can play something just by listening 2 it a couple of times.

kat, why can´t you learn it by yourself. this is called autodidactic learning. come on its not so hard . I could tell ya all notes but it would be to much. well it begins with a c :P
you could try and search some tabs. e.g on www.mysongbook.com or type in tabs in google. there you might find the piano notes. for some tab files you need guitar pro.
muse is not from this planet ;)

Well, Lizzie and Damian, to a certain extent yes, but it has some fairly subtle implicit meaning, plus it has cool Hispanic-style guitar bits and excerpts from one of Rachmaninoff's (is that spelt right?) piano concertos. This is probably one of those marmite songs- I found it grew on me loads. It is possibly my favourite after Assassin and Exo-politics. Also, Hoodoo, do you mean "hypochondriac"?

while the lyrics are deep i do have to agree with damien, its a bit boring.

I think hoodoo isn't that song! It's Hyperchondriac Music!

If you can't find a way to appreciate or at least respect everyone's opinion, you aren't worthy of respect.

    You are a tool!

Damian, if you can't find a way to appreciate this song, you are not worthy of listening to Muse as a whole... This song was the pinnacle of this album.
