Math the Band Lyrics Follow
Math the Band is an American electronic rock group formed in 2001 in Westford, Massachusetts by Kevin Steinhauser, with Justine Mainville joining in 2007. The band uses vintage analog synthesizers, drum machines, hacked videogame systems and homemade synthesizers to make loud, fast, punk music. The band's style has been sometimes called Nintendocore. The band has performed over 1000 shows throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom, touring with bands such as Andrew W.K., Japanther, Wheatus, MC Frontalot, mc chris, MC Lars, and Peelander-Z. Math the Band has been featured in several magazines such as Venus Zine and Keyboard Magazine. They were also featured on NPR Music. Now based in Providence, Rhode Island, Math the Band are artists in residence at the non-profit, AS220.
In 2014, Math the Band added Jon Pagano, Neil King, Max Holbrook, Jeff McGowen and Joe DeGeorge to their line-up and modified the band name to "Math the Band the Band". They now play as this outfit.
