Well I went to the waterfall in mid-
December and the air was so clean that it
brightened my lungs and my mind
I stood on the rocks below the falling water
in the place where as a child I caught a
salamander
Little Weeper, go to sleep now
Things look better in the morning light
You could cry all day and night now,
couldn't you? But go to sleep and you'll
probably be all right
As I stood on the rocks, I remember your
long legs wading nervously through the
cold and shady riverside
And you walked across a log that had
fallen in a storm and you slipped and you
fell but I caught you in my arms
Little Weeper, go to sleep now

Who is the colonist? In time
