Bad days come and bad days go
Then everything's just fine
And life may be a tragedy
But I ain't gonna let it bother me

I take it for granted and smile
That way I won't let it burn me down

Everybody knows somebody else who knows it all
And even if you act concerned
Well, they're never gonna let you have your turn
You'd might as well talk to a wall

That's when I step to the side
And laugh while they're trying to burn me down

Sometimes it's better to walk away
Sometimes you wanna turn to them and say

Jerks may come and jerks may go
Then everything's just fine
And what they know and what they see
Don't really mean that much to me
I just don't have the time

I made some mistakes in my life
And I took an emotional dive
But I'm through hanging out with the clowns
I won't turn away
