I started out living for Jesus many years ago

He gave me His love and I gave Him my heart and my soul

Some folks said that I'd never make it

But I guess that they must've been wrong

Cause He's still got control of my life

I can't say it's always been easy, but that's okay

Well discipleship costs and I've always been willing to pay

But He has helped me to carry the load
