Called me dizzy-but I haven't gone far.

Once I was labeled I could not go back.

Mom said I would be a star.
Well, that has not happened so far.
Probably won't this late in life,
I followed Liz- seven times a wife.

My friends asked me how did I do that?
Nosey people's gossip, blind to the fact.
I was searching for someonejust like you.
Hopeless romantic- always true.

I left them all for spice in living.
Regrets no longer am I freely giving.
Life was a blank stage when I was born.
Now between two loves I am torn.

When I was a girl I named my doll Kay.
After my own middle name.
Prideful, maybe arrogant, wouldn't you say?
To name my own doll Brenda Kay?

Today I know just who I am.
Composer,musician in a traveling band.
Wanting to eat my next birthday cake.As I blow out the candle,my next wish will be no mistake.
