I couldn't get back on my feet again
I tried self-help books, even meditation
Searched the want-ads out of desperation

Meet at Murphy's Lounge at 8 o'clock sharp"
Got there early and the man at the door

Well I gotta admit I had my doubts at first
But I figured, what the heck, let's see if it works
So, I followed each step down to the letter
Almost right away I started feeling better
